I like that it notifies you when the next batch of ice cubes is ready, and it operates quietly without much noise. There is an easy clean function, although I haven't needed to use it yet. It's made of stainless steel, so it should resist rusting over time. I am pleased with this ice maker. I have not weighed the ice, but after a few days of using it, I would definitely say it makes 80 pounds of ice in 24 hours.

Excellent quality and appropriate size for my small restaurant. It performs very well at making ice, with a large storage capacity of up to 33 lbs. The design is also attractive, and I really like this machine. I highly recommend it.

This ice maker really is wonderful, especially if you have a large family. It can plug into electricity or use the water from a fridge. It holds quite a bit of ice and very easy to set up. It has a self clean mode with is great as well. Definitely worth the money. Not too big either but definitely big enough.

I am so glad I got this ice machine! We use a lot of ice during the summer, especially for boat days, and this thing has already saved us a ton of money compared to constantly buying bags of ice. I honestly wasn’t sure how well it would work without being hooked up to a permanent water line, but that hasn’t been an issue at all. I bought a large water container, fill it up the night before we’re heading out on the boat, and it keeps making ice without any problems. The ice production is impressive, and it fills the bin much faster than I expected. We have had this ice maker for approximately 6 months and it turns out ice in an exceptional rate. No problem so far. I took a second picture showing the drainage from the ice maker. The only issue I'm having is trying to figure out how to drain it without using a drain pan.

This is easily assembled and quickly ready to use. It's convenient and can be hooked up to a sink/water line or used by a jug. It does use approximately 1 gallon every 1-1.5 hrs on the -4 setting. I used a 1 gallon jug to test it out and it runs out before 2 hours. The drainage is minor & on average was only a little over 2 ounces ever two hours. The drainage depends upon the room temp and amount of melting ice also. You really could hook this up to two 5 gallon jugs & it would work. Very convenient and comes with a nice metal scoop. The scoop handle is a bit small but it's a good overall size & has a hook inside for it. I also use a large plastic cup as a scoop as well when emptying it faster. Comes with protective film and was well protected for being sent to me.

This is a very affordable ice maker machine. It has two water source options. One a water line that would go into a jug of water say a Culligan water bottle. It has a water pump that will syphon out the water without a gravity setup. Option two is a water line from say a city water system. Both are working great for me now. When I first purchased and setup the unit I couldn't get the city water line to work. The unit kept trying to take water from the water bottle line. I called tech support and they worked me the process the whole way until I got the city water line to work. Very friendly and helpful support staff out of CA. I installed an inline water filter and it makes great clean ice. It take about 11-15minutes to make one tray of ice. The method is to push running water over ice cold metal tray system. As the water runs over the surface it quickly freezes until it becomes cubes. It then heats the metal tray and dumps the ice. The only down side to this unit is it is not a freezer. The ice will slowly melt and drain out a bottom drain. This is planned as it keeps the cost of the unit down. It will keep the ice tray full though as long as you have water and power. So you come in to the office in the morning and there is about 30 lbs of ice waiting for you. Great product with great support.

I had this ice maker machine installed in a busy restaurant kitchen & it has been performing very well. The machine is a good medium size that is easy to setup & easy to use, you will need to attach the provided tap water inlet or bottle water inlet, attach the water outlet & then plug in the power supply cord to an AC wall outlet socket. The machine will then turn on to produce ice which it will take over an hour to produce some & it can work continuously overnight in 11-20mi cycles & can produce up to 100lbs of ice a day with the storage capable of withholding up to 33lbs of created ice cubes. You can also setup a timer, it has an automatic self-cleaning feature & has a built-in exhaust heat cooling system for efficiency. The price listed for this commercial ice maker machine is a standard price range value for this size storage & system machine, it is also made with quality stainless steel material & the ice-maker machine is freestanding which is easy to transport & move for cleaning.

In short, this is a great ice maker at a great price. If you have a small bar or a family that runs through a bunch of ice, this ice maker is for you. In this review I'll summarize its features: Style - It's very commercial looking, it doesn't clash with kitchen appliances but definitely has a utilitarian look. There's a stainless steel face and top plate that makes it easy to clean. At 31.25 inches tall, it's not US counter height, but it would fit in a base cabinet with some custom work. It's about 15 inches deep, needs several inches of venting all around to operate properly Ice - the ice is commercial cube style with a divot in the middle, it's not crushed or chip style ice. The thickness of the ice can be adjusted to get a thinner more hollow ice cube or a thicker denser ice cube. Ice is approximately 1" cubed. This machine produces 45 cubes per cycle, a cycle takes about 15-20 minutes. The claim of 100lbs per day seems reasonable. Depending on ice density setting you could easily run through 2 5gal jugs of water per day which is about 90lbs of water. The tub only holds a 3rd of that so you would have to empty often. Cleaning - Mold is an issue with ice machines. This one is easy to clean, all components are accessible through the front door to wipe down/clean/spray/etc. Machine has an automated cleaning cycle that will pump extra water or cleaning solution through the system. Features - The best feature in my opinion is the ability to run this from bottled water. I run this from a location where I do not have a permanent water line, and it easily takes 5 gallon or even 1 gallon bottled water. You can hook it up to a fridge water line too. Works great for sporting events, camping, marina etc. Timer function to run the ice maker for a certain amount of time then shut off The LCD control panel handles all the functions and will let you know of any issues. It tells you whether the machine is de-icing, making ice, cleaning, etc as well as the remaining cycle time. Very handy. Comes with all accessories to get started, all hoses, cords and even an ice scoop are included Minor nitpicks: The instructions do not do a great job of explaining how to hook up bottled water. Essentially, you need to put the bottle on top of the machine, suck on the hose to create a siphon and then plug the hose back into the machine. The siphon will keep the water running, it does not appear to have a self priming pump. You need a drain - Melted ice and excess water from the ice making process just drain directly into the collection tub, it does not get remade into ice. You can plug the drain or drain into a container but this is something to consider. The manual says this is not for outdoor use but I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it outside as long as it stays covered .

Perfect for what we need it for. I bought this one because of the feature to connect a water jug to it instead of a water line, although it has that option as well. I rigged one of the tops to add the drain line in the water jug to recycle the ice that melts because it does “waste” a lot of water if you use a separate container.

Funny thing, we purchased the 100 Lb/24 hour unit, then decided to up our ice output due to the heat of the summer coming up, and being a Specialty Coffee/Ice Cream Shop, we added the 200 Lb/24 hour ice machine...! Couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of these units...THANK YOU...!

Very simple to set up, and is true to it's 100 lbs. rating. I installed this unit in our garage running from an outdoor hose bib. Easy push-to-connect fillings. Unit DOES require drainage and is gravity fed - use some risers when setting the machine (cinder blocks for our application). Installed an in-line Waterdrop filter, making all runoff/drainage potable water that is captured in a 5gal bucket. You can recirculate the captured water back to the machine using the provided water bottle hose to eliminate waste. Once your drain water has been depleted, simply turn on your tap again to repeat the process. We found that our ideal size setting is about -2 minutes, but that may adjust as we head into the warmer months of summer. Family of six, and we have plenty of ice for two days after running the machine for about five hours. This will be a game changer when we need to produce ice quickly for our Florida hurricanes. Highly recommend!

Makes ice like nobodies business! There is a dump tray under the ice making grid that was rubbing on the rubber hose on the right side that goes down to the water pump. It was preventing the dump tray from popping back up so it could start on the next batch of ice. I was able to push the pump and hose with my finger over to the right side and fixed the problem. Wanted to mention it in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Makes different sized cubes which is nice! I still have to peel off the white plastic covering over the stainless but that looks nice too. Now everyone in the house can be ice hog’s and still have plenty of ice! Go smoothies and sugar free ice cream not stop!

Solid little ice maker that does what we needed. It's compact, easy to clean, and simple to operate. The only thing I would change is making the machine a little lighter because I move it around occasionally. It's not heavy enough to be a real issue, and overall I'm still very happy with it.

This has been great for family gatherings and weekend parties. It makes ice quickly and is much more convenient than filling freezer trays. I do wish the basket could hold a little more at once. We just empty it into a larger container when we're having people over, so it's an easy workaround.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this machine. It's small enough for our apartment kitchen and produces enough ice for everyday use. The buttons are simple, although I had to look at the instructions once to understand everything. After that, it was very easy to operate.

I bought this mainly for iced coffee and cold drinks, and it has worked well. The machine is easy to use and makes ice fairly quickly. My only complaint is that the ice doesn't stay frozen forever once it's sitting in the basket. That's not really a problem because we usually use it right away.

Nice countertop ice maker for the price. It fits perfectly beside our coffee maker and doesn't take up much room. The operating sound is noticeable, so I wouldn't put it right next to the TV. In the kitchen, though, we barely think about it, and the convenience definitely makes up for the noise.
