I purchased this unit on April 2, 2025 on Amazon, for my apartment in New York City, where I only stay during the summer months. I used it for approximately five months, and not even on a daily basis. The unit was properly stored when not in use.
After setting up the unit for summer use, we began experiencing multiple issues. The unit started leaking water, displayed error messages, stopped cooling properly, and would shut off completely. We repeatedly drained the unit, allowed it to sit for several hours, and restarted it, but the same problems continued. The unit would leak, freeze over, and eventually stopped cooling the room entirely.
I contacted the company and provided videos and photos showing the issue. Their only resolution was to tell me to buy another unit and, after receiving the new unit, they would refund me 20% of the cost of the new unit.
This is disappointing customer service, especially for a product that was lightly used and properly stored. I expected better support for a product failure after such limited use. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product or company.
