I was looking for an espresso machine since I'm moving into a new apt. This espresso machine exceeded my expectations. The built-in adjustable grinder makes a huge difference in flavor and the 20-bar pressure pulls rich, smooth espresso every time. The milk frother works great for lattes and cappuccinos. The touchscreen controls make everything easy to use. Cleanup is simple thanks to the self-cleaning function. Highly recommend since it's stylish, convenient, and worth the money.
It’s remarkably compact, making it an excellent fit for office nooks or small apartments. The matte finish and LED display give it a modern, clean look that feels more expensive than it actually is. However, the build is primarily plastic and lightweight, so you’ll need to hold the machine steady when locking in the portafilter. It's a "value king" for the casual coffee drinker. It isn’t meant to compete with high-end Italian machines, but for anyone wanting a solid latte or a double shot of espresso at home. It performs admirably. It’s smart, fast, and exceptionally versatile.
Nice coffee maker. I like the stainless steel look/design on the exterior. It makes a whopping 14 cups of coffee. The nice thing is that you can set the maker to start at a certain time so I can set everything up the night before and have it ready in the morning. It's got an interesting feature where your can pick 1-4 cups where it will assist the brewing process. I haven't tried this yet but not sure what will change. It's also nice that it has a programmable warming setting to decide how long to keep the coffee warm. Overall a nice coffee maker. Hopefully it lasts a very long time.
This high-quality coffee maker is an exceptional addition to any modern kitchen, particularly for those seeking to upgrade from a pod-based system. Designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind, the appliance seamlessly integrates with stainless steel kitchen decor while offering a compact footprint. Perfect for coffee enthusiasts who require multiple cups in the morning, this machine boasts an impressive array of features. The intuitive LCD display and multifunction button provide easy control, while the keep warm feature ensures your coffee remains at the ideal temperature. With a brewing capacity of up to 14 cups, this coffee maker caters to both individual and family needs. The innovative self-cleaning reminder and dedicated cleaning button simplify maintenance, making it a hassle-free kitchen companion. Additional convenient features include a brew-pause button for those who can't wait for the full brew cycle to complete and a reusable filter that promotes sustainability. The 12-hour timing function allows for programmable brewing, ensuring fresh coffee is ready precisely when you want it. Considering its comprehensive features and performance, this coffee maker represents an excellent value proposition for discerning coffee lovers.
Listen. Is this some space-age, WiFi-enabled, talks-to-you coffee robot ? No. It’s a coffee maker and it makes coffee…very well. It’s got all the usual features, delay brew (so you can wake up like a functioning adult), bold setting (which actually makes it bold, bless), 1–4 cup option, heated timer, and even adjustable heat levels. Which is honestly kind of elite. Now here’s the mildly annoying part: once it’s brewing or keeping warm, you can’t adjust settings. Want to switch to bold after you realize you’re extra tired? Too bad. You have to turn it off and start over. It’s giving “commitment issues” energy. Not a deal breaker just mildly dramatic. Is it compact? Not really. It’s normal coffee maker size. Slightly larger because the carafe sits in its own little alcove like it has a VIP section. Does that make it cute? Yes. Does it save space? No. All that said? It makes better coffee than my expensive Cuisinart did. It’s fast. It’s hot. It’s programmable. It does what I need without acting complicated. And honestly, that’s all a very tired mom wants in the morning. 10/10 would recommend.
Overall, I still feel positive about the machine and about it as a brand, but I can’t give it an unreserved glowing review until the instructions and/or support materials are brought up to the standard I’ve experienced with their other products. I genuinely look forward to It updating the instructions and adding videos so I can revisit this and give a more definitive rating once I’ve been able to optimize the settings and see what this machine can really do.
This machine makes great espresso. Easy to use, instructions are somewhat cryptic but it’s not too bad. It’s a very good value for the money. Time will tell how it holds up. I’ll use it in my toy hauler so I can have my coffee fix when I’m on the road. Given the prices at Starbucks it will pay for itself VERY quickly.
Incredibly user friendly and foolproof espresso machine. The options available are simple and straightforward, without a bunch of complicated instructions and procedures. As far as coffee goes, it makes a great cup of espresso with literally just a press of a button. cleaning is easy and the unit will tell you when it needs cleaned which, simplifies things greatly. The unit is noisy, between the grinder and the mechanical tamper. If noise is a concern I would make further consideration.
My husband and I like to experiment with coffee, and in the past, we have enjoyed espresso options at coffee shops, but have failed miserably at making them at home. We just really struggled to properly create all of the pressures and tamping and grinding that comes with pulling an espresso shot.
This machine makes it all SO EASY. If you're really into the art of espresso, this might be a little too easy for you, but if you want to take out the guess work and just be able to quickly enjoy a cup of perfect coffee, this is IDEAL. It does make some noise while it grinds the beans and pulls the shot, but that's hard to get away from, and it is really fast.
The machine is not very wide, which makes it easier to keep on a counter than some of the other brands I've seen, and making a perfect espresso looks like this:
1. Pour whole beans into the hopper and set the grind level. (The instructions give suggestions for first-time use, and they were spot-on.)
2. Pour clean water into the water tank (which holds enough for quite a few cups of coffee).
3. Turn on the machine, and select the desired coffee style (single-shot, double-shot, or Americano), volume, and strength.
4. Press start and watch the machine make the coffee.
5. If desired, use the milk steamer wand to make frothy, warm, steamed milk. I like doing this and adding some sweetener to make a latte.
6. When indicated, pull out the little tray under the machine, which holds excess liquid in one section and used grounds in another, making for easy cleaning. If needed, the little filter in the machine can be accessed through a side panel and clicks in or out.
A lot of great thought was put into this product, and we are LOVING IT!
As someone who enjoys coffee drinks at home, I was excited to try this espresso machine and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. The built-in grinder is convenient and lets me use fresh beans for each cup, which makes a noticeable difference in flavor.
The button controls are straightforward and easy to learn, even for someone who is not an espresso expert. The machine heats up quickly and consistently produces rich espresso with a nice layer of crema. I have made lattes, cappuccinos, and regular espresso drinks with good results. The manual milk frother works well and gives me enough control to create the texture I like for different drinks. It took a little practice, but once I got the hang of it, I was able to make café-style beverages at home. I also appreciate the auto-clean function. It helps simplify maintenance and makes it easier to keep the machine ready for daily use. The machine feels sturdy and well made, and it looks nice on the countertop without taking up too much space.
Got this espresso/coffee maker to see if it would exceed the expectations of our other one, and boy does it exceed our expectations and much much more. Yes I do understand this espresso maker is more expensive than the typical ones you find in the market, but it is worth every single dollar and there’s something about the coffee quality and the way it heats up that just makes it taste that much better. There are days we feel like we are drinking a cup of coffee in Europe. It is also one of the user friendly espresso coffee machines we have ever had. If you know how to read then you can see the top panel and all you need to do is push the button that gives you whatever it is you’re looking for. The cleaning on these machines are very simple and we have had some machines in the past where it is just a mastic clean and coffee grounds goes everywhere. So far we have not noticed that with this machine at all. Reliability is something we will only be able to tell as time goes on, but so far this thing has not missed a beat and I just cannot see reliability being an issue unless something crazy happens.
This espresso machine has been a really nice addition. What I like most is how easy it is to use. The one touch setup makes it simple to get a good cup without a lot of extra work, and it takes a lot of the guesswork out of the process. The coffee has been tasting great, and I like being able to adjust it based on what I want. Having control over the strength and cup size is a big plus. The grinder settings are also a nice feature because they let you fine tune things a bit more depending on the beans you are using. I have also been happy with the coffee temperature. It comes out hot and ready to drink, which is something I always pay attention to with a machine like this. Another thing I appreciate is the self cleaning function. That makes it much easier to keep up with on a daily basis, which matters with an espresso machine. The guided interface is also helpful and makes the machine feel more user friendly instead of overly complicated. The steam wand is a nice touch too if you like milk drinks. It gives you more control and makes the machine feel a little more versatile. On the noise level, it is about what I would expect for a machine with a built in grinder. You can hear it while it is working, but it has not been excessive or bothersome.
The COWSAR 20-Bar Automatic Espresso Machine with Grinder & Milk Frother has honestly been a game changer for my daily coffee routine. If you enjoy espresso-based drinks but don’t want the hassle, mess, or learning curve that comes with traditional espresso machines, this machine hits a really sweet spot between convenience and quality. What I love most is the full bean-to-cup experience. You simply add coffee beans to the top hopper, select your drink, and the machine handles the grinding and brewing automatically. Having preset options for espresso and Americano makes it incredibly easy to get café-style coffee at home without needing separate grinders, tampers, or extra accessories. The machine can brew both single and double shots. One thing worth noting is that the “double shot” function actually brews two individual single shots back-to-back, grinding fresh beans each time. It takes a little longer than traditional portafilter machines that can brew two shots simultaneously, but the upside is that each shot is freshly ground and extracted separately. I also like that you can customize brew strength and drink volume. Whether you prefer a concentrated espresso shot or a more diluted lungo-style coffee, it’s easy to fine-tune to your taste. The built-in steam wand works very well for steaming and frothing milk, making lattes and cappuccinos easy to prepare. It’s nice having everything integrated into one compact setup instead of juggling multiple devices. Build quality is mostly plastic, but honestly the machine still looks clean, sleek, and modern. The design blends nicely into a kitchen or coffee bar setup without looking bulky or overly complicated. Maintenance has also been surprisingly easy. The machine automatically performs a rinse/clean cycle when powered on, which helps keep the brewing system clean with minimal effort. There’s also a dedicated cleaning mode that works well when deeper cleaning is needed. Another feature I really appreciate is the used coffee grounds container. After brewing, the grounds are automatically collected into an internal compartment that slides out easily for disposal. In my daily use (about one coffee a day), it can hold roughly up to two weeks’ worth of grounds before needing to be emptied. The machine is also smart enough to detect when components aren’t installed correctly. If something is out of place, it displays a warning and prevents brewing until everything is secured properly, it would warn you if coffee beans are low or the machine needs to be cleaned, which is a great safety and maintenance feature. Overall, this has become my daily driver for coffee, and it delivers a really nice balance of convenience, automation, and quality. Pros • Fully automatic bean-to-cup brewing experience • Built-in grinder eliminates need for extra accessories • Preset espresso and Americano functions are convenient • Adjustable coffee strength and brew volume • Steam wand works well for milk frothing and lattes • Automatic cleaning/rinse cycle on startup • Easy-to-remove grounds container for maintenance • Warning system prevents operation if parts are installed incorrectly • Modern design fits well in most kitchens • Great option for beginners and everyday coffee drinkers Cons • Mostly plastic construction • Double shot function takes longer since it brews two separate shots • Steam wand still requires some practice for perfect milk texture • Larger coffee enthusiasts may need to empty the grounds container more often Final Verdict This machine makes it incredibly easy to enjoy fresh espresso drinks at home without the complexity of traditional espresso setups. It’s convenient, simple to maintain, and produces consistently enjoyable coffee with very little effort. Whether you’re buying it for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves coffee, this is a fantastic all-in-one espresso machine for everyday use.
This review is for " 20bar Automatic Espresso Machine with Grinder & Manual Milk Frother, Auto-Clean Function Espresso Maker, Professional Expresso Coffee Machines with Button Controls for Cappuccino, Latte, Black". This machine grinds and brews delicious coffee. It is very easy to use, with two rows of indicators and lighted buttons along the top. It looks aesthetic and functional, but there is one thing that makes it good but not perfect - the largest brew size is a bit too small in my opinion. I am used to my old, trusty Tschibo coffee maker, which makes about 2/3 of a small cup on the medium size setting, this machine brews about 1/2 of a small cup on the max size setting. It's a bit noisy when grinding and brewing, but it costs about the same as my old Tschibo machine which does not have the steam feature. UPDATE: after full two months of daily use (several cups a day) I can say that this machine performs well. It has some quirks, for example the bean feeder empty light comes on from time to time, despite the feeder being full. But the machine works well despite that. It is also extremely easy to clean. I also think that the "on" button takes too long to hold before the machine comes on and it takes some getting used to.
I really like this automatic espresso machine. It's easy to use and heats up fast. The one-touch buttons are simple, and the water tank comes off so you can see how much water is left. The bean holder is big and has a dial to adjust the grind. The spouts move up and down, so you can fit small cups or tall mugs. The machine looks sleek and black. It's slim, not too heavy, and fits right under my kitchen cabinets. There's a small learning curve, but once you figure it out, making good coffee is easy. The frothing works well for cappuccinos. You can make the foam as thick or thin as you want by turning off the steam when it looks right. It takes a few tries, but you'll get it. One thing to know: The machine is made of plastic. Before you use it for the first time, run at least two full tanks of water through it to flush out the plastic taste. After that, it's fine. It also doesn't come with a milk pitcher. I already had one, but if you're buying this for the first time, you'll need to get your own. The machine makes some noise, but nothing crazy. Bottom line: This is great for someone who wants to make espresso, cappuccinos, or americanos at home without spending a ton of money. After some practice, we're finally pulling great shots!
This is a really solid espresso machine and a noticeable step up from the entry-level ones I’ve used before. The design is clean and minimal, and even though it’s a bit deeper than smaller machines, the narrower width actually made it easier to fit on my counter than expected. Using it day to day has been pretty straightforward. The adjustable cup height is useful since it works for both small espresso cups and bigger mugs. I also like that the milk frother is separate, so you can actually control how much foam you want instead of it being preset. There are a lot of customization options too—strength, volume, and grind size—which makes it easy to dial things in. With the ability to adjust grind coarseness and other settings, you can fine-tune the espresso to get the exact strength and level of crema you want. The built-in grinder also saves a lot of time in the mornings since everything is done in one process. Performance has been very consistent so far. I’ve been using it heavily over the past several days and it hasn’t had any issues like overheating or anything unusual, and the espresso quality has stayed steady each time. On the first use, even after running the cleaning cycle a couple of times, I did notice a slight plastic taste. That went away completely after running a full tank of water through it, and since then everything has tasted clean. The grinder is definitely on the louder side, but that’s expected since it’s grinding beans. It’s short bursts of noise though, so it hasn’t been a real issue. Cleaning has been fairly easy overall, though I did find the initial cleaning cycle a bit slow until I realized the descaling function works much better for flushing it through before initial use. Overall, it’s been reliable, easy to use, and makes a consistently good espresso once it’s set up properly. This is best suited for someone who wants consistently high-quality espresso but is either making coffee for multiple people or needs a quicker, more streamlined solution in the mornings.
